Gallery: Experiencing 'The Other Half' in Thailand and Cambodia, Dec 2009

Catholic Asian Students' Society members visit the Marist Mission Ranong, Thailand,
and YODIFEE, Cambodia.
First stop for 'The Other Half' journey is the Marist Mission at Ranong in the south of Thailand. It is here that a team led by Kiwi, Fr John Larsen SM, cares for poor Burmese migrant workers and their families with children's learning centres, young adult peer-teacher training and skills development and health programs.
Lay volunteers and 'peer-training' young adults work with the MMR team in several centres at Ranong.
