The Saints of Davao

Members of St Peter Chanel’s formation community in Davao, Philippines, celebrated the feast of All Saints with colourful portrayals of their favourite saints.  They are pictured below with formators, Frs Roque Rebito and Dennis Levi, along with Myanmar Marist aspirant, Daniel Wai Htet Kyaw (alias St Don Bosco).          [Nov 04]

Vocations novena

Each year Marists and friends throughout the world pray for the blessings of priestly and religious vocations through the intercession of Ven Jean-Claude Colin. The novena begins on Nov 06 and concludes on Nov 14, the eve of the anniversary of his death on Nov 15, 1875.

Jean-Claude Colin’s life was marked by humility, faith, and missionary zeal and continues to inspire us today. As we approach his anniversary, we are invited to rediscover the richness of the Marist charism and to live ever more deeply in the spirit of Mary — hidden, humble, and faithful.

Novena options in a choice of formats and languages are accessible on the Colin website at the Resources/Novena, with simple reflections on the qualities of Fr Colin, a prayer for graces through his intercession and selections from the Marist Constitutions.
